Sony has just launched LinkBuds true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds globally with amazing design. These earbuds have an Open Ring Design that allows users to hear sounds from their surroundings when they want.
It has also got a Wide Area Tap feature that lets you control playback by just tapping in front of the ears. With the help of the Speak-to-Chat feature, one can automatically pause music playback.
However, the earbuds are available for purchase in the US. The details of availability in India are yet to be announced.

The price of Sony LinkBuds in the US is $179.99 (around Rs. 13,500). One can purchase the earbuds from the official website, Amazon, Best Buy, and other resellers. It has two color options, Grey and White.
Specifications & Features
The Sony earbuds feature 12mm, open ring drivers. This design lets users listen to the ambient noises. It is said that these TWS earphones recreate high-quality audio as it uses Digital Sound Enhancement Engine. The Adaptive Volume Control adjusts the playback volume based on the surroundings.
Moreover, the earbuds have a Wide Area Tap feature that controls playback by a double or triple tap in front of the ears without touching the earbuds.
The Speak-to-Chat feature pauses music if the user starts speaking to someone. Also, there is a Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Siri support.
For connectivity options, there is Bluetooth v5.2, and audio formats support SBC and AAC. It can be configured using the Sony Headphones Connect app on Android and iOS.
TWS earphones have an IPX4 rating for sweat and splash resistance. The earphones deliver a total playback time of 5.5 hours on a single charge. The charging case provides extra 12 hours of battery life. It is said that 10 minutes charge would provide up to 90-minutes of battery life.
