13-inch M2 MacBook Pro’s Custom Configured Model Delayed to August

Apple has already announced its new M2-powered MacBooks, but this year, it seems to face production delay issues for all the upcoming devices. Now, it is showing a delivery delay for the custom-configured 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Recently, Apple’s newly launched M2 chip’s benchmark has been leaked online, which is accurate, as Apple told at the WWDC event, and it also competes with Intel’s latest CPU.

On Friday, Apple started accepting the pre-orders for the M2-powered 13-inch MacBook Pro, and some days back, it also started selling its M2 MacBook Air 2022.

And as it said, the MacBook Pro 2022 will be arriving on 24 June, but some buyers have noticed that the website is showing custom-configured MacBook Pro will come in August.

This means you must wait 6 weeks to get your 13′ MacBook Pro after pre-ordering it. Now, you are wondering what the reason behind this delay is. So as we reported earlier, before its launch.

“Due to the lockdown in China, its production might be delayed, which will also affect its launch date plan,” and now we are experiencing it, which was first speculated by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Still, it is better than delaying to next year. The company will only ship the base model in a week or maybe in the early days of July, which includes 8GB of memory and either 256GB or 512GB of storage and will cost $1,299.

For a recap, the 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with different options 256GB, 512GB1TB, and 2TB SSD storage. With the new M2 chip, the company also enhanced RAM variants such as 24GB RAM.

Additionally, A reliable tipster, Ming Chi-Kuo, has provided some details about the upcoming 15-inch MacBook, which will launch in 2023 and is mainly powered by an M2 Pro chip.
